An Apology, and Some Changes

Allow me to say I'm sorry. I know I haven't been a good blogger for quite a while, I haven't posted in about 2 months. One thing I will say in my defence, college and scholarship applications have been due and have spent the last two months of my life working on them (God, they really are awful). So there's going to be some changes. I have (finally) made my New Year's Resolution, and that is to take better care of this blog. From now on I will be posting at least twice a week. I may create some series for the blog (I had a good idea yesterday), and plan to be more interactive.



The first thing I think I should talk about is the blog's title, All in a Day's Work. When I created the title I didn't ever think it meant I would post every day, I realize it could sound like that though. The title refers to my love of film and how ever present it is in my daily life. Film is one of those parts of my day that is mandatory. I think about film all the time, at school, at home, when I should be going to bed, at friend's places, it doesn't matter, I can think about and love film everywhere, any day. All in a Day's Work was meant to convey my love, affection, and obsession to the medium and to demonstrate how it is a part of my everyday life. The best thing is, it's not a job, it's a hobby. I do it because I find film fun, I allow myself to become obsessed because film is fun, it's often the best parts of my day are watching, talking about, or reading about film. In the end, basically know that I will not be posting everyday even though the title might sound like that, but I will be posting much more often and will be trying to bring new stuff to the table.

Another thing, best of the year list, coming soon. I know it's almost the end of January, and most of those kinds of lists were posted awhile ago, mine will be coming this week. Probably in about 3-4 days, so keep an eye out.

Seeing as it is the new year, I may be making some changes to the layout of the blog, it might look pretty different soon enough. I just think I need a couple changes to really make the blog my own.

Alright, so that is about everything, I'm looking forward to a whole new year of film and can't wait to post much more about it.
